About Us
Rural Solutions Queensland Incorporated, a not for profit body in Queensland auspices the Rural Financial Counselling Service (RFCS) Program for the South Western Region in Queensland. This program is being delivered as the registered business entity Rural Financial Counselling Service Queensland – South Western Region.
The Rural Financial Counselling Service Program is funded primarily by the Federal Government through the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) and also by the Queensland Government through the Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation.
RFCS Queensland South Western Region is administered from the Regional Head Office located in Roma and currently employs seven Rural Financial Counsellors who are located at Roma, Charleville and Taroom with field rural financial counsellors who assist where required in other areas of need.
RFCS Qld South Western Region operates in a large area of South Western Queensland and primarily covers the following local governement districts:
